Nan’s Nine Patches 41, 42 from Virtual Quilter

Love everything about the design above! Anything but an average quilt design.

Also love the second design, but the first is the best of the two by a short margin.

Nan’s Nine Patches 39, 40 from Virtual Quilter

Love it!

I particularly love using borders as a big part of the overall design, rather then just a frame to hold a design together.

Love the second one too, even though the outer borders are not identical!

I much prefer applique to pieced quilts, but I love the design above.

Maybe my eyes are telling me that the curved seams are applique!

The first design today is a bit busy for my taste, but I do like it!

I love the second one, and I must try to turn those linked star blocks inside out, but I think there may be a problem with the corners!
